practice with me
What would you do if you had more energy in your life? What if you could silence those negative voices and manage stress with more power and grace?
Do you want to feel physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger?
Rise up to become the best version of yourself, and allow me the honor of becoming your teacher. I draw on 3,000-5,000 year-old teachings— science-backed and proven to help people live with more joy and less pain and suffering.
As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200) with Yoga Alliance, I have undergone hundreds of hours of teacher training with accredited programs and continue to work on my mastery through professional training, apprenticeships, workshops, and real-life experience teaching public and private classes regularly.
I received my certification to teach Restorative Yoga from its Founder, Judith Hanson Lasater Ph.D, P.T. whose guru was the late B.K.S. Iyengar, a legendary teacher and author of “Light on Yoga,” referred to as the “Bible of Modern Yoga.”
Currently, I am enrolled in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program accredited by UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, led by Jack Kornfield Ph.D and Tara Brach Ph.D.
My primary teacher and mentor is internationally acclaimed instructor and author, Laura Burkhart. I am completing the next 300 hours of yoga teacher certification with the influential Janet Stone at Stone Yoga School.
Through my teachers, I have learned how to intelligently sequence yoga poses to maximize the body’s mobility; how to guide my students to have safe and energetic body alignment; how to sync breath to movement using fluid, Vinyasa (flow); and how to incorporate mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathwork to cultivate inner peace in daily life.
I intend to honor traditional practices with a modern twist, which takes into account the latest knowledge of the human anatomy.
